You are well aware that our normal Sunday School and Young Peoples's Meetings have been suspended because of the Covid 19 Health Crisis but we have compiled a short series of Bible Stories that you can listen to if you follow this link or Facebook
Sunday Schools (Sept-June)
Ebenezer Hall 10 am Kilcooley Community Centre Owenroe Drive at 2-15 pm Conlig Village Hall at 2-30 pm Young Folks and Children's Meeting Thursday 6.45 pm (Oct-March but now suspended due to the Covid crisis) |
All are welcome to attend our young people's activities although they are aimed mainly at children between the ages of 4-14. The objective is to teach the children the truths of the Bible
During the Sunday School activities the children are divided into small peer groups (classes). This helps to meet the needs of their specific age group and encourages fuller participation by all. |
The mid week Children's and Young People's Meeting is a fully interactive group event and takes the form of chorus singing, bible memory verses, quizzes and a bible lesson each evening.
Transport is available by arrangement. Please contact: Donald 0780 2776775 |
Pics From Our Children's and Teen's Summer Activity Week in July 2019
We enjoyed a packed house each day and are pleased to say that the children enjoyed learning the lovely story of Joseph that ancient Bible character. Joseph was genuinely hated by his own brothers but loved of God and honoured to a position of great power from which he was able to ungrudingly and lovingly save their lives when they were in a place of great need. We learnt that this is a wonderful picture of the Lord Jesus who was hated by men and nailed to a cross by them. Amazingly this is the very means by which God in his eternal wisdom had determined we sinners could be saved.
What a wonderful truth this is: Christ Died for our sins according to the scriptures. He was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Cor 15:3-4
