The Gospel:
... the gospel of Christ: is the Power of God unto salvation to every one that believes. The simple truth that is taught in the Bible is that mankind in general and men and women individually have been alienated from God by the Presence and Practice of Sin. Of course many consider this to be an outmoded and non essential teaching of the long gone ages of superstition and intellectual darkness.
It is no coincidence however that moral decay, broken families, social disorder, violent crime, substance abuse, mental illness and child suicides are rampant in this world that has thrown off this truth of God and denies his very existence.
God Is
The Bible (God's Word) teaches clearly that God is, (Hebrews 11 v 6) and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. We live in his world. We exist through his power. We are subject to his authority and accountable to him alone.

God is Love
Love is personified in the God of our Salvation. In spite of the arrogance of men in their denial of his existence God is Love. All that we could ever know of pure, selfless, sacrificial love is revealed in the God who spoke of himself as The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, Exodus Ch 34 v 7-8 God our Saviour It has been said that Love is a verb, a doing word. This is what God has done for the world of men and women. He Loved and He Loves. |

1 John Ch 4 v 9-10 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.
The Lord Jesus, who is God who became a man, laid down his life willingly upon the cross at Calvary as a once and for all sacrifice for sin. On behalf of the world of sinners he satisfied the righteous demands of justice when he died upon the tree.
Romans Ch 5v6 says For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
The truth of the Gospel is that Jesus died that we might live. Paul the servant of Jesus Christ said,
Romans Ch 5v1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy God of Eternal Power and Glory is satisfied with what Christ has done for sinners and all who trust him alone, who died and rose again, as their Saviour will know the blessing of pardon and acceptance by him.
Acts Ch 16 v 31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
